One of the strongest greenhouses in the world: heavy-duty materials, more weather-resistant, and with a decade-long warranty.
The Planta Sungrow Compact was designed with a focus on functionality and versatility. The small-scale greenhouse captures heat like no other, making it the ideal choice for 3 or 4 season gardening. Additionally, this unique design is completely customizable, with the option to incorporate extensions to increase the length of your greenhouse as your space expands.
The strong steel frame is designed for all climates and is built to last. It's rust-resistant and durable enough to survive the most severe weather conditions, keeping your hard work safe and out of harm's way.

Stay cool and comfortable when working inside the greenhouse. The tall 8 ft roof height combined with the end-to-end ventilation ensure that your plants will thrive, and you'll enjoy time spent in your new backyard oasis.
We’re retired, we live in Southcentral AK, and the Sungrow Compact was a great choice for us. We drove to Anchorage in a standard pickup to pick it up, and transportation to Homer was relatively easy. The only reason for four stars rather than five is that assembly for us was more time consuming and tedious than we expected, even with all the helpful videos, and there were more than a few undo’s and start overs. That said, now that it’s done, kinks and all, I really do love it.
Thanks for sharing your experience and feedback!
We understand that assembly can sometimes be a bit challenging, and we're continuously working to improve our instructions. We're glad you are enjoying your Sungrow Compact, Happy gardening :)
After researching compact greenhouses I went with Planta even though it was not the least expensive. Cost is important to me, but so is quality and durability. In the end, I could not be happier with my purchase. The design, the materials and the instructions, both written and video, are excellent. I have had a lot of experience over the years assembling things like furniture, tools and grills, and I was impressed by how accurately the parts of the greenhouse went together. All the screw holes were in the exact right position and lined up perfectly. A couple of times it seemed like maybe I would need to enlarge a hole, but in each case it was because I had overlayed two parts in the wrong order. After reviewing the instructions I switched the parts around, and the holes lined up.
I did this pretty much as a one man job. A neighbor helped me while I stood the arches up and connected them. He also helped me lift the entire structure into the footer holes that I had dug. Other than that, I did the whole thing by myself. This included installing the plastic panels, although a helper would have been nice for that step. I had to use some ingenuity such as using a piece of tape to hold a wrench onto a nut while I tightened from the outside. Clamps were used to keep panels from slipping while I was getting them lined up.
The finished project is beautiful and extremely sturdy. I am still in the process of landscaping around it and building shelves inside. Really…
Hi Mitchell, thank you for sharing your detailed experience with us!
We're thrilled that you're enjoying your Planta greenhouse and appreciate the awesome pictures.
We have had other greenhouses in other gardens over the years but this is by far the best - albeit my knees got very sore bolting the sections together on a concrete driveway. Solid construction and already growing fine salad vegetables in November. It's the perfect size for what we need - looking forward to germinating seeds and growing tomatoes next year.
We took our time preparing the site and assembling this cute little greenhouse. It was finished for the end of summer, so we are looking forward to starting plants for the garden in the spring. For now, there is some lettuce growing in containers. We are in Zone 3, so sitting in its warmth in October and November is a bonus!
It was a lot of work to prepare the site for the greenhouse (on a slight hill) but once we got it up it was worth it! Only issues are the gaps at the doors and windows. They give you material to seal along the frame of the greenhouse, but it is almost pointless with the poor design of the windows and doors. Plus you must open the window in order to open a door. Not a big issue but it was a surprise once we realized it. Now that it is complete I am enjoying growing my winter veggies in it as long as I can before it gets too cold!
