I'd been exposed to the thinner polycarbonate when putting together our greenhouse.
We renovated an unused basement bathroom with a window well right beside the back door. I was pondering an adhesive frosting, but also wanted to cover the window well to keep the toads out. It is an awkward spot because of the electrical supply.
I built a window well cover using the 8mm polycarbonate which also functions as a somewhat opaque source of light.
