    Well designed for DIY

Going on the 4th season. It has held up well to our harsh winters and windy conditions in Eastern Wasington State. Assembly is not difficult. The YouTube videos are very helpful. I was able to run power and water to the selected site. The stamped holes lined up perfectly for screws. LOTS OF SCREWS/BOLTS! I had a few things I had to redo because I initially put together incorrectly. Once you get the process down using the videos for step by step "how to" it goes well. A quality product worth the time invested to complete. Once the site is prepped the way desired, 2 fairly handy people can get this put together and ready to use in 3 days. A kid or 2 for "go fer" etc. is helpful.

Thank you so much, Jim! We're absolutely thrilled to hear that your Sungrow 20 has been holding up so beautifully through four seasons of harsh Eastern Washington winters and windy conditions - that durability is exactly what we strive for!

Your experience perfectly captures what makes our greenhouses so special for DIY builders. We love that you found the YouTube videos helpful for getting through those step-by-step details. It sounds like you really got the hang of the process, and we're glad those stamped holes lined up perfectly for you. Don't worry about having to redo a few things initially - that's all part of the learning curve, and it's clear your attention to detail and persistence paid off in the end.

Thank you for choosing Planta and for sharing such detailed feedback about your four-season journey with the Sungrow 20!

    Love our Sungrow!

Our Sungrow 20 went up a week ago with help from a Planta certified installer, and we’re super impressed with the quality of the greenhouse and with the installation. Still lots to do before planting, but we’re getting closer!

    Withstood 81 mph winds

We live in Montana in a location that can get both a lot of snow and high winds. This last week we had the highest winds we’ve seen yet—40-50 mph sustained winds with 70-80 mph gusts. The greenhouse didn’t blow away and we had no blow outs on the panels. There are only a couple of minor issues to fix (some seal tubing came loose and the upper door got jammed to the inside of the lower door), but otherwise it looks good. When it was -40 last winter, it was so nice to step into the dormant greenhouse for sunshine where it was above zero and warm.

We’ve been using the greenhouse for a couple of years now and it consistently gives us great veggies and herbs each season. The assembly was quite a process (be prepared with a team, plans, and don’t slapdash it), but it was well worth it.

Thank you so much, Blair! What an incredible testament to the Sungrow 20's durability - surviving 80 mph gusts is no small feat! We're thrilled to hear it held up so well through those extreme Montana conditions. It sounds like those minor issues with the seal tubing and door are easily fixable, and it's wonderful that the structure itself performed so beautifully.

We're delighted to hear you've been getting great veggies and herbs consistently over the years - that's exactly what we hope for! And you're absolutely right about the assembly - it definitely requires proper planning and teamwork, but as you've experienced, the results are so worth the effort.

Thank you for sharing this fantastic review and for sticking with your Sungrow 20 through all kinds of weather. Here's to many more successful growing seasons ahead!

    Went together flawlessly

i just finished putting my Sungrow 20 together. It took about 40 hours over about 2 weeks and I was amazed how well everything fit. There are a ton of pieces and hundreds of screws. I kept expecting to have to force things to fit and that didn't happen once. The precision of the components was amazing. The instructions were clear and the numbered pieces with arrows right on them showing orientation was invaluable.

In terms of value for what it cost, this purchase was better than any other recent picture.

    Very well done.

Note: I just finished building it, so I cannot have an opinion on durability, wind and snow resistance or Insulation, but they won't let me submit this without clicking on a number, so I'll go with 3's on them. If they had a 'no clue' option, I'd click that. (i.e. ignore my votes on those 3 items)
