About Terra 48

Discover the Planta "Terra" 48 greenhouse, a smart choice for commercial growers looking to maximize space efficiency.

This durable greenhouse is built with a 1mm thick galvanized iron frame that includes arch-shaped supports connected by purlins and reinforced by solid end structures. It measures 16 feet wide, 48 feet long, and 11.8 feet tall, offering extensive space for a variety of crops.

Exact Size: 16.4' × 48.37' × 11.8'

The Terra 48 is designed for easy assembly. It can be set up on a traditional foundation using cleater angles or directly in the ground by digging in special frame endings. Each end features a doorway that enhances access and ventilation, promoting an optimal growing environment

Shipping

Planta's commercial greenhouses require special shipping and delivery. Please read to learn how it works:

  • The average shipping fee for commercial greenhouses is between $500 to $2500. Remote areas might be more. Freight charges will be calculated at checkout. If the freight charge is not calculated please contact us to get it quoted by providing your full physical address.
  • We will contact you to confirm shipping price, based on your location and order size.
  • Receiver must have a suitable forklift/tractor (preferably with extensions) to offload the shipment. The largest skid is 10' by 8'.
  • Other delivery options are available upon request.
  • When you place your order, please make sure to enter the correct Phone and Address at checkout. You will be contacted by phone before the item is shipped. We cannot be responsible for deliveries to incorrect addresses.
  • As part of the delivery process, we require a contactable telephone number (for the delivery company to contact you) before the item is shipped.
  • We do not ship to PO Boxes, as you will need to sign for your item.  
  • Orders placed on weekends and public holidays will be processed the next business day.
